BREAKING NEWS: Dani Alves staying until 2017 
After long and intense discussions, FC Barcelona and Dani Alves have reached an agreement to renew the player’s contract for two years with an optional third.
Alves joined the Catalan club from Sevilla F.C. in 2008 and has enjoyed plenty of success with the latest treble coming this season. The Brazilian is a huge part of Barça’s history as an important player for this current generation that has created history and has broken a lot of records.
Alves’ new contract ends on June 30, 2017. This is great news for both the club and the player as he has expressed many times that he would love to stay.
